Dawn Prayer Scarf

I didn't think I would have the courage to create a scarf for those grieving. Scripture offers us a perspective of death unlike the world's. In Christ, we view this life through an eternal lens - our troubles working for good to fulfill a greater purpose for the part of us that will never die. I understand why Solomon wrote that the day of death is better than the day of birth, but I wouldn't say it to someone who has just lost someone. These thoughts leave me conflicted when I offer condolences.

I finally created Dawn after a few beloved kin in Christ insisted. Dawn is adorned with a collection of 18 meaningful Bible verses, each chosen to uplift and console. Verses like Psalm 34:18 and Matthew 5:4 remind the wearer of God's closeness to the brokenhearted and His promise of comfort to those who mourn. This scarf is a physical representation of the hope and peace that God offers.

Dawn comes with an insert card bearing a reflective message about God’s enduring love and our prayers for strength in difficult times.
