Adoration Prayer Scarf

The Adoration Scarf is inspired by the moving account of Mary Magdalene using her hair to anoint Jesus's feet with expensive nard oil and tears of worship. It's a passage I've wept over countless times and I'm grateful to have connected with a Christian illustrator to help me get it on a scarf.

The design features an illustration of Mary, surrounded by spikenard flowers, holding Jesus's feet close in that moment of intimate adoration. The expensive spikenard oil used by Mary to anoint Jesus’s feet embodies the essence of sacrificial love and the beauty of giving one’s best to the Lord.

My hope is that this scarf can be useful for those wrestling with purpose or awaiting a significant life event, like finding a spouse. It serves as a beautiful reminder to focus our attention on Christ and offer Him adoration, in natural submission, recognizing the weight of His glory as both God and man, Savior and sacrifice.

Luke 7:37-38
Then when a woman of that town, who was a sinner, learned that Jesus was dining at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfumed oil. As she stood behind him at his feet, weeping,  she began to wet his feet with her tears. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the perfumed oil.

Psalm 31:23 NASB
O love the Lord, all you His godly ones! The Lord preserves the faithful.

Psalm 116:1 NASB
I love the Lord, because He hears my voice and my supplications.

Psalm 95:6 NASB
Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

1 Peter 1:8 NASB
Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.
