Adoration Prayer Scarf
The Adoration Scarf is inspired by the moving account of Mary Magdalene using her hair to anoint Jesus's feet with expensive nard oil and tears of worship. It's a passage I've wept over countless times and I'm grateful to have connected with a Christian illustrator to help me get it on a scarf.
The design features an illustration of Mary, surrounded by spikenard flowers, holding Jesus's feet close in that moment of intimate adoration. The expensive spikenard oil used by Mary to anoint Jesus’s feet embodies the essence of sacrificial love and the beauty of giving one’s best to the Lord.
My hope is that this scarf can be useful for those wrestling with purpose or awaiting a significant life event, like finding a spouse. It serves as a beautiful reminder to focus our attention on Christ and offer Him adoration, in natural submission, recognizing the weight of His glory as both God and man, Savior and sacrifice.
